Welcome to BEDMAS ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you play our game at bedmas.com.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: Username, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Game data: Score, difficulty, rounds, and duration per game. This powers the leaderboard and personal stats.
Guest play: Only your chosen display name and game result. No email required.
Contact form: Name, email, and message to respond to your inquiry.
Technical data: Standard server logs (IP, browser type) for security and debugging only.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate your account and authenticate you
- To display your score on the leaderboard (username only — never email)
- To show your personal game history and stats
- To respond to support messages
- To improve the game and fix bugs
- To prevent abuse and enforce fair play
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect payment information, physical location, social media profiles, or data from children under 13. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. We share data only with hosting/email providers necessary to operate the service, or if required by law.
5. Leaderboard & Public Display
Your username and scores are publicly visible on the leaderboard. Your email is never displayed publicly.
6. Data Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. You may request full deletion at any time by emailing hello@bedmas.com.
7. Security
We use bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS, JWT authentication, and rate limiting. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
8. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser localStorage to keep you signed in between sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
9. Children's Privacy
BEDMAS is for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact us immediately if you believe a child has registered.
10. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email hello@bedmas.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of BEDMAS constitutes acceptance.

How to Play
Turn 1: Place your first equation through the red center ST cell.
All other turns: Every equation MUST reuse at least one tile on the board. e.g. if 3+81=84 is placed, reuse 3, 81, or 84.
💡 Hint: Shows up to 5 valid equations. Click one to auto-place it. Watching a short ad unlocks 3 hints per game.
↔ Swap: Return one tile to the pool and draw a replacement. Watch a short ad to unlock once per game.
Chained equations: 33−4=29=87−58 is valid!
